Here are some pics from the first photo shoot for Black Diamond Burlesque. These will be used for promotional posters/cards. I love the way these turned out! I think they really set the tone for the over all look of the troupe. More photos to come soon once I get the rest of the Diamond Dames together!

Let the Journey of the "Art of Tease" begin...

I am the creator of Sarasota's very first burlesque troupe! I have always looked up to the women who pioneered the "art of tease" and noticed a strong revival happening in big cities all over the country. It has slowly trickled down to Florida in cities like Miami and Tampa but never to the small sleepy beach town of Sarasota. What people may not know about Sarasota is that there is a huge art community here and the people are thirsty for something new that they may have never seen. Of course you may have the occasional Drag Queen Bingo, that's about as risque as it gets. I plan of bringing burlesque to the arts scene of Sarasota with full force!
